CLSA Chapters

The chapter is the basic unit of the association. Chapter meetings provide the primary focus for members and are their principal source of information about state association activities affecting land surveyors and the surveying profession.

Chapters do have certain state responsibilities in addition to their primary purpose of coordinating meetings and programs of interest for their membership. Reports of chapter activities shall be presented to Central Office before each Board of Directors meeting, in writing, for inclusion in agenda materials. The President of each chapter shall appoint the representative responsible for such report. Innovative or interesting programs should be written for publication in the California Surveyor and/or CLSA News. Chapters should encourage member participation on State Committees.
