Bio: Mike Hickey entered the title insurance industry in 1978, and has served as Commercial Underwriter since 1987. Using a solution oriented approach, he is known for handling many of the most complex transactions in Silicon Valley. Mike is recognized for establishing national platforms & underwriting procedures for off-balance sheet financing, involving transaction values well over $7 billion. He has a firm grasp of real estate law as it applies to the searching and insuring of titles. Mike has taught classes on a variety of title related subjects at local community colleges such as legal descriptions, conveyancing and tenancies.
